QRA Firearm Safety Course - Sunday (Cat. A&B)

A requirement for obtaining a firearms licence in Queensland is completing a VET approved Firearms License Safety Training Course (10618NAT) with a registered training provider.


Upon successfully completing this course you will be issued with a Statement of Attainment. When you apply for a weapons license, you must provide a copy of a statement of attainment showing you have completed an approved safety training course (10618NAT) for weapons within the previous 12 month period.


Courses are conducted by the Queensland Rifle Association regularly at the Belmont Shooting Complex.


Please note participants must be 11 years of age or older. This course is for category A & B licence only. Please enquire for other categories.


Upon purchasing your booking you will receive a download link with information regarding your Firearms Safety course and firearms application. Information is also available through the Q.R.A. Your safety course information is not required to be picked up.


For Eligible persons with previous training (RPL). Acceptable evidence of formal firearms training must be provided (eg police/military record of service); acceptance of documentation is at the discretion of the course instructor.
